Roberto Clemente Jr. Signed (PSA) Baseball Inscribed "9/30/72" - PSA In-The-Presence

Baseball has been hand-signed and inscribed by Roberto Clemente Jr.

Roberto added 9/30/72 inscription which was the date of his fathers 3000th hit and ironically the last hit of his life and career due to his tragic death only 3 short months later.

On New Years Eve December 31st 1972 Roberto Clemente chartered a plane for a humanitarian mission to earthquake-striken Nicaragua. Even though Clemente had some concerns about the planes safety, he flew. Clementes flight crashed into the Atlantic Ocean shortly after takeoff killing him and all four crew members. Today Clemente is recognized as one of the few baseball immortals to ever live.

The autograph includes an official PSA/DNA hologram for authenticity purposes. The signing of this item was witnessed by PSA.
